Sandpiper is an adorable “tiny house” located directly on Lake Michigan offering a serene and peaceful retreat with stunning lake views. Sandpiper is a perfect vacation hideaway for up to six people in spring, summer and fall, it’s closed for the winter. However, Sandpiper’s sister property, the Evergreen Cottage is available for winter and all year-long rentals.
The Sandpiper Cottage, located on a lovely wooded property north of the Muskegon State Park, has two bedrooms: One with a queen size bed, the other with a trundle bed. There’s a deluxe American Leather Queen+ fold out sofa bed located in the common space.
The cottage is equipped with a full kitchen with a dishwasher.
Muskegon State Park, with miles of pristine Lake Michigan beach, is about a mile south of Sandpiper Cottage, and Duck Lake and White Lake are a short drive to the north. Sandpiper not only has fabulous views of Lake Michigan, but it offers direct Lake Michigan beach access. Additionally, guests can enjoy kayaking, sailing, fishing, many activities -- it’s all within reach!
And after a few days lounging on the beach and enjoying fabulous outdoor activities, guests might appreciate a visit to other local attractions:

The Muskegon/ Milwaukee Ferry is only a few miles away and gives guests access to easy trans-Lake Michigan transportation.
The Muskegon Airport and the Gerald R. Ford Airport in Grand Rapids are the closest airports within an hour’s drive from the cottages.
